Electricity
The majority of the victims of electrical accidents are normal consumers, and the accidents happen with the regular mains voltage. The most common causes are general lack of caution and self-made electrical wire connections.
Correct use ensures that an electrical appliance does not give you an electric shock and does not cause a fire. Also make sure that the fire alarm is in working condition, which is an easy and cost-efficient way to ensure that a fire is detected early.

Heat
More than 90 percent of the heated spaces in Helsinki use district heating. District heating is a carefree heating solution for residents. The average duration of disruptions per household is only 2–3 hours in a year.
Gas
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is a highly flammable fuel. It is colourless and non-poisonous. The LPG on the market in heavily perfumed. An LPG leak is always dangerous, because the gas is ignited even by a small spark. You can prevent gas accidents by using an LPG-fuelled appliance only for the intended use and by installing the appliance according to the instructions.
